From a further in the room, Merlin (now in Shane's body) was observing everything. His amnesia spell clearly worked, as the look in the eyes of the little girl became peaceful and calm.
"You're going to lead a normal and happy life, I will see to that, as your new uncle. Farewell Shane, welcome little Morgan." 

Merlin turned around and left the room. Because of his absent mind, there was one thing he missed. When the name Morgan was said, the baby's eyes turned blood red for a second. Nobody noticed and probably it wouldn't even matter... Or would it?

Shane had no clue of the other things that had changed in the meantime.

His father (now husband) had divorced his mother right away and when it came out that she was pregnant from her sister's ex-boyfriend, he had fled also.

Shane cried. This was a mess... He ruined the lives of his family and he would have to give birth to his own bastard sister or brother!
"Hush now, little one", he heard someone say. He looked up and saw himself, well now Merlin in his body. "I know this is hard, but you will get through this, I will help you", he said.
"Things will get better, you'll see."

And with those words, Shane started his life as his own mother. (And also fun to point out, right after those words he went into labour. So his new life litteraly started with a bang.)
